You are a spacefaring astronaut who has crashed on an alien planet. Travel around to find your missing crewmates, gather engine scraps to restore your spaceship and escape!
In this project, I contributed to parts of the concept development and was responsible for all enemy animations. Below are some examples of my work. The game’s metrics and movement style were inspired by Spyro. This was our sixth game project and was developed over 14 weeks full-time.

Concept
Photoshop
During the concept art phase, I worked closely with our graphic artists. We explored different ideas together, and in the end, my concepts for enemies were selected and developed into the enemies used in the game.
Motion Capture Directing
Compared to the Blood and Gold project, my role in motion capture shifted from performer to director. Instead of wearing the suit, I guided my teammate through the movements for both enemies and the player. I believe that being able to communicate and direct motion is just as important as performing it, especially in situations where you cannot capture the performance yourself.

Enemy alert 1

Our Attack-enemy also gets shocked when you approach them! But sadly, they seem more furious than wanting to flee.

Our Flee-enemy got startled! A short alert animation plays right before it run and flees away before you can catch it!
Enemy attack

This is our Attack-enemy's attack animation. Their wiggly hands are so soft that the impact from a slap will definitely hurt.
Enemy death

Our Flee-enemy got burnt by you! He struggles and eventually withers away..
